HLP is pleased to announce the opening of offices in Charleston, South Carolina, and Orlando, Florida. Partner N. Ward Lambert will manage HLPW’s new Charleston office, and Partner Carlton Miller will manage the new Orlando office.
Partner Ward Lambert leads HLP’s practice in South Carolina, including offices in both Greenville and Charleston. Mr. Lambert earned a B.S. from Clemson University in Chemical Engineering and a J.D. from the University of South Carolina of Law. Mr. Lambert focuses his law practice exclusively on counseling, advising, and representing clients in the construction industry. Over the last 30 years, Mr. Lambert has advised and represented numerous regional, national, and international general contractors, construction managers, design-builders, EPC contractors, owners, architectural and engineering firms, and subcontractors in connection with construction projects located throughout the United States.
Partner Carlton Miller will lead HLP’s practice in the state of Florida. Mr. Miller is Board Certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar and rated A.V. Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Miller received his J.D. from Temple University and a B.S. degree from Brigham Young University in Civil/Environmental Engineering. Mr. Miller focuses his practice on assisting clients with the resolution of complex commercial construction law disputes throughout the United States and beyond. Mr. Miller has successfully represented owners, developers, large general contracting firms, agency and at-risk construction managers, design professionals, and subcontractors regarding numerous multi-million-dollar claims and disputes. His clients have included mainstays in the ENR Top 100 Design-Build Firms, ENR Top 400 Contractors, and ENR Top 250 International Contractors.
