Mr. Adams centers his practice in the areas of construction litigation and commercial litigation. Since joining HLP, he has represented general contractors, subcontractors, owners, and material suppliers in a variety of construction disputes as well as complex commercial disputes. His experience includes disputes concerning mechanic’s liens, construction defects, contract disputes, construction delays, payment disputes, and civil violations of the Georgia Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.
Mr. Adams has experience representing clients in litigation, arbitration, and mediation related to a broad range of projects and disputes including shopping centers, commercial buildings, educational facilities, single-family residences, and condominiums. He also has experience in drafting and reviewing construction and commercial contracts. Mr. Adams earned his J.D. from the University of Alabama where he served as a Senior Editor on the Alabama Law Review. He also holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees from the University of Georgia.
