Ms. Holzer focuses her practice on general liability, commercial litigation, and defense of directors and officers. Ms. Holzer’s general liability practice consists of defending businesses, insurance companies, and individuals in civil litigation involving insured claims under commercial liability, D&O , and automotive policies. She has experience defending clients in a broad range of general tort liability matters, including claims of premises liability, property damage, personal injuries, and claims centered on transportation/trucking law. Ms. Holzer’s commercial litigation practice includes an emphasis on construction litigation and focuses on representation of owners, general contractors, and subcontractors in connection with claims of breach of contract, lien claims, and payment disputes.
Prior to joining Hudson Parrott Walker, Ms. Holzer served as an Assistant Attorney General in the post-conviction litigation section of the Georgia Attorney General’s Office. While at the Attorney General’s Office, Ms. Holzer gained substantial appellate experience, handling dozens of cases in the Georgia Supreme Court and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals,and arguing before the Georgia Supreme Court on multiple occasions.
Ms. Holzer graduated from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and received her J.D. from Emory University, where she was a member of the Moot Court Society and served on its executive board.
